The guests arrived one after another, wearing their best dresses and suits for the Continental Spirit Academy Tournament's opening party. Some even wore their academy's formal uniforms to attend the party.

As the one who planned the opening party, Liu Mei stood at the entrance of Elegant Mermaid Hall. She's wearing a purple one-piece dress that strikes one's heart like lightning and matching crystal-high heels that enhance her white, long legs.

Her long, dark purple hair was neatly styled with waves, which gave one impression of falling waterfalls. Overall, Liu Mei looks like a noblewoman with overbearing professionalism.

Any guests who came in couldn't help but take several looks at her.

After all, the infamous Queen of Thunder is much more beautiful than the rumors say. Giving her the title Goddess of Thunder wasn't far-fetched either.

"Master isn't here." Liu Mei checked her smartwatch, which showed that the opening party would start in fifteen minutes. "He should have arrived with the Shrek Academy's group, but I don't see him with them."

"Hehe, are you waiting for Yuhao?" Scathach chuckled while tapping her heels against the ground.

"I have bad news for you. Yuhao wouldn't be going for a particular reason."

"Eh?!" Liu Mei was shocked. She stared at Scathach's red eyes, trying to find a sign of fraud.

However, Scathach smiled and didn't show any facial changes. No matter how strong the Queen of Thunder was, she couldn't see through the God Slayer.

Their experience is on a 'completely' different level.

"No way, did he forget?" Liu Mei looks downcasted immediately.

'Look what have you done to her?' Qianye Ying'er nudged Scathach's arm with her elbow.

Even without Qianye Ying'er reminding her, Scathach has already felt bad for teasing Liu Mei too much. However, she quickly hid any complex emotions as this was necessary to set the stage.

His blue hair was 'slickly' swept back, allowing his angular and sharp features to be more pronounced.

"I-I thought you wouldn't come." Liu Mei pouted slightly.

"Who said that?"

"And you believe her?"

"Are you going?" He extended his hand to her.

Liu Mei looked at Huo Yuhao's hand and took it happily, "Let's go!"

She hugged Huo Yuhao's arm and walked inside the Elegant Mermaid Hall with him triumphantly. She glanced at her partner tonight and found him more attractive as she breathed in his presence.

Elegant Mermaid Hall is a massive banquet hall planned to receive people on Java Island. Tonight, it would be a room for talented youths from all over the Douluo Continent to meet and socialize for the first time.

Mahogany tables filled with food and encircled by chairs were 'naturally' set according to the guests, which exceeds a thousand, if not two thousand, tonight.

A gorgeous mermaid sculpture stood firmly in the center, catching everyone's attention like a fire to moths.

Youths and elders who protected them are busy talking with each other.

That's until the sound system announced the arrival of someone.

"Attention~! Attention~! Dragon Nest's representatives have entered the hall!" A pleasant voice of Giana entered their ears.
