Not wasting a single second after seeing the bear demon beast, Chu Yang and Qing Yi acted like they had practiced how to respond in such a situation, both dashing back out of the small cave before the bear demon beast had a chance to reach them.

As a result, causing the bear demon beast to let out a confused roar before sticking its head out of its cave to look in the direction that Chu Yang and Qing Yi were escaping in. Not understanding how they had managed to run away so fast.

After all, even if their master had left some talismans that could save their lives in a dangerous situation, they had no idea if the talismans that their master had left for them would be able to deal with the sheer number of demon beasts and spiders chasing after them.

Something that in hindsight might have been a bad idea, as dealing with the oversized chicken would at most have taken a single talismans left by their master to deal with, while the wave of demon beasts and spiders chasing after them now might require everything they had to deal with.
